These 5 years in which have become the most defining years of my life, I've worked on developing my own style and have become proficient since having invested in quality control. Kia Mazzi's debut album has been years in the making. It's an eclectic collection of tracks exploring the depth of electronic music as a whole. The album includes some exciting collaborations such as with Kodey Brims (Singer/Songwriter from Australia/Berklee graduate) on 'Your Shadow.' & 'Machine.'
Trilogy
Emotive synth, progressive that lends itself to a global feel of progressive house tinged with trance and electro. His sound has a textured worldly quality to it that is distinct yet not easily put into a simple category.
Thinking Of You
Reason To Believe
Utilizing his extensive hardware synth collection to the fullest on this pair of songs, Mazzi navigates his way through complex, classically-arranged passages on both “Reason to Believe” and “Thinking of You”. The title track sports an extended introduction with a non-intrusive 4x4 kick that gets introduced midway through making it suitable for DJ use. “Thinking of You” incorporates a sparser broken beat at half speed, with a simpler (yet more anthemic) lead that is on the joyful tip.
